Full time, temporary post required for Autumn Term 2024

32.5 hours per week

Full time salary from £30,000 to £41,333 per annum, depending on experience

Are you a creative, dedicated teacher with a passion for education?

As our evocative name suggests, Woodland Grange Primary School enjoys an attractive setting on the edge of Oadby. As a sought-after primary school, we’ve enjoyed steady organic growth and as founder members of the Oak Multi Academy Trust, we can draw on considerable shared expertise to drive continuous improvement.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative & highly motivated teacher to join our friendly & supportive staff team. Our very popular school has its own pre-school for three-year olds where many of our children begin their educational journey. As they move through the school they grow and develop into independent and creative pupils who are always ready to learn. Standards of behaviour at Woodland Grange are exceptionally high and our parents are very supportive.

The successful candidate will need to have current or very recent teaching experience and have an excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum and high expectations of pupil attainments, progress and behaviour.

To find out more about this position please read the person spec and job description. Please contact the school office if you would like to view the school and have an informal discussion about the position. More information can be found on our school website.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A full DBS check will be required and other relevant checks will be followed as part of our safeguarding procedures.

A letter of application (no more than 2 sides of A4) should be submitted with the application form, clearly stating strengths, interests, educational beliefs and experiences with this age group.
